Yeah I get it..when most people picture a boudoir photographer, they're not picturing me.
But the women who come into our studio consistently say it's one of the most comfortable and surprisingly fun experiences they've ever had. And I think a big part of that is because I'm not trying to be anything other than myself.
I'm Jake, and I run Apricot Aura with my wife Sabrina. I've photographed hundreds of women in this studio and so many of them were convinced they weren't photogenic, weren't the "right body type," or just weren't someone who did things like this.
Every single one of them walked out of here beaming.
I know how to make posing feel natural, how to use light in ways that will make us both go "holy sh!t this is goooood", and how to create an environment where you stop thinking about the camera entirely. That's where it becomes something unforgettable, and it's what I love most about this.

You don’t need to know how to pose and you don’t need to be “confident” first.
We take our time so nothing ever feels rushed or confusing because we care about how you feel while you’re here.
We also care about how you feel, when you look back at these photos years from now.

STEP 2.
Pre Session Preparation
Leading up to your session, we will get you fully prepared for your boudoir experience. This is where the excitement builds and you truly see how much we care about this.
STEP 3.
Your Session Day
You arrive, we greet you. Then we show you around the studio and settle you in. You get your hair & makeup done and then we guide you through the entire session. It's fun and easy.
STEP 4.
Your Reveal Session
This is the best part, where you realise that you had no idea how gorgeous you actually are. You'll see your images for the first time a few days after your session. In the studio or on zoom.

We’ll keep this simple.
There are 2 financial parts to the experience, your session and choosing your images.
This is not to confuse anybody, firstly we need to cover the costs of doing the session with a $599 session fee.
That covers professional hair and makeup, your private 2-hour shoot with Sabrina, editing and your reveal appointment where you’ll see your images for the first time.
After that, you only purchase what you love.
Some women choose a smaller collection.
Some go all in.
Collections begin at $899, and most women invest $1,499 or more on the images they want to keep.
