We photograph connection.

Sessions take place in our private Geelong studio. You can be in your underwear, in a robe, in minimal clothing, the setting is intimate. But what we’re capturing is the relationship, not the bodies. The two things are different.

Jake shoots every couples session himself. Sabrina handles all of the solo boudoir sessions at Apricot Aura, she is exceptional at it and it’s in good hands with her. But for couples work, Jake likes to be behind the camera. It’s the photography he cares about most deeply, and that care shows in the images.

What we don’t offer – Explicit or erotic couples boudoir near Melbourne

We don’t photograph sexual acts or sexually explicit content. We don’t do suggestive poses that cross into territory we’re not comfortable with. We don’t offer erotic photography.

• Jake shoots every couple session himself in our private Geelong studio

• The session is two hours across our eight studio sets

• Hair and makeup for one or both partners can be included, ask Jake when you enquire

• We direct every shot, you don’t need to know how to pose or how to look ‘couple-y’ on cue

• The reveal appointment is with Jake, two to three weeks after the session
