Boudoir Session Cost Geelong | Apricot Aura

Boudoir photography pricing tends to either hide everything or hit you with a full menu before you’ve had a chance to understand what you’re even looking at. Neither is particularly useful.

Here’s the honest version – what the session fee covers, what the typical investment looks like, and how the financial side of things actually works.

The Session Fee: $599

Every session at Apricot Aura starts with a $599 session fee. This is flat – no tiers, no surprises. It covers:

  • Professional makeup, done at the studio before your shoot
  • Two hours of shooting time with Sabrina
  • Access to all twelve studio sets
  • Three to five outfit changes
  • Snacks and drinks throughout
  • Your private reveal session, 2–3 weeks after your shoot

The session fee does not include prints, albums, or digital files. Those are chosen separately at the reveal session, after you’ve seen the images. This separation is deliberate, you’re not committing to anything beyond $599 until you’ve seen what you’re buying.

What Most Clients Invest

Collections start at $899. Most clients invest somewhere between $2,300 and $4,500 all in – session fee included. That typically covers a premium album with a meaningful number of images, which is what most people are after.

The range exists because people’s priorities are different. Some want a small, beautiful keepsake. Some want every image from the session in the highest-quality album we offer. The reveal session is where that conversation happens properly.

How the Full Pricing Works

When you enquire and book a call, Jake sends through the full investment guide a couple of days beforehand – a detailed breakdown of every collection and product, with enough time to look through it properly and come to the call with questions.

The reason we do it that way rather than posting everything here is that numbers without images don’t tell the right story. A $2,899 album looks very different when you can see what 30 of your own photos look like in a premium hardcover than it does as a line item on a webpage.

At the reveal session itself, Jake walks you through everything alongside your actual images – not as a sales presentation, just a proper look at what each option means in practice.

Pre-Payment Bonuses

Some clients already have a sense of which collection they’re leaning towards before their reveal session and choose to pre-purchase ahead of time. It’s completely optional, you never need to decide anything before seeing your photos, but for those who do, we offer a small bonus for each collection as a thank you.

The full details are in the investment guide Jake sends before your call. Most clients prefer to wait until the reveal, and that’s always the right call if you’re not sure. But if you already know what you want, it’s worth knowing the option is there.

Is It Worth It?

What you’re paying for isn’t just the photos. It’s the makeup, the two hours of Sabrina’s direction, the privacy of a dedicated studio, and the experience of a reveal where you see yourself – properly, with good light and intention, possibly for the first time.

The women who regret spending the money are genuinely rare. The women who regret not doing it are much more common. [Honest answer: /is-boudoir-session-worth-the-money]

Payment Plans

Payment plans are available for collections. If cost is the main thing standing between you and booking, mention it when you enquire, it’s a normal conversation and there are options.
