GETTING STARTED: THE PERFECT FIT

Collecting outfits for your boudoir session should be fun, not overwhelming, and we're here to help make it easy!

We understand that shopping for lingerie can be daunting due to inconsistent sizing and the challenge of finding flattering pieces.

This guide will help you choose outfits that make you feel confident and beautiful.

Before shopping, we highly recommend getting measured professionally. Victoria's Secret and Bras N Things offer free bra fittings, as do many other lingerie stores.

The right fit makes all the difference in how your pieces look and feel.

Understanding Lingerie Styles

• Worn around waist or hips

• Attached garters hold up stockings or leg bands

• Adds classic and seductive elements

• Great for enhancing simple panty sets

7. Garter Belts, Garters, & Thigh-Highs

• Leather jackets

• Ripped jeans paired with sexy bra

• Off-the-shoulder sweaters

• Sheer T-shirts

• Blazers

• Mix lingerie with other clothing (e.g., beautiful bra with a skirt)

6. Regular Clothing Options

• Tight-fitting undergarments that shape the figure

• Modern options combine functionality with aesthetic appeal

• Super flattering and looks incredible in images

* Leather also works like shapewear

5. Shapewear

• A classic choice with numerous options

• Ensure proper fit to avoid unflattering bulges, especially around the armpit area

• It's nice to have a supported set for keeping the girls in place when laying down

1. Bra & Panty Sets

• Similar to corsets but with built-in cups for breast support

• More flexible than corsets, allowing easier movement and posing

4. Bustiers

• Designed to cinch the waist and create an hourglass figure

• Feature back ties for adjustment

• Note: Can restrict movement during the photoshoot

• Choose a sweetheart neckline over a straight neckline as sweethearts will show off your bust and look better

3. Corsets

• One-piece garments covering torso and crotch

• Teddies are typically more sheer and sexier

• Bodysuits typically cover more and are great if you want to hide anything

2. Teddies & Bodysuits

Dressing for Your Body Shape

Understanding your body shape can help you select the most flattering pieces:

Hourglass: Emphasize your balanced proportions with fitted pieces like bustiers or waist-cinching corsets

Pear-Shaped: Draw attention to your upper body with embellished bras or off-the-shoulder tops

Apple-Shaped: Opt for bodysuits or teddies that provide structure and highlight your legs

Athletic: Create curves with lace details, ruffles, or padded bras

Petite: Choose pieces that elongate the body, such as high-cut panties or vertical stripes
