What this actually is:
Before you scroll further, here's the honest version.
This is a private photography session, done properly, with hair and makeup included, music, snacks, drinks and photographers who guide you through exactly how to pose for each shot so you don't have to think once.
You don't need to feel confident walking in. Most women don't. That's the whole point of how we run it, you are welcome and safe here, we will take care of you.
Some people call this boudoir photography. If that word makes you want to close the tab, keep reading for thirty seconds. It's less about lingerie and more about finally seeing yourself and being proud of who and what you are.
A QUICK HELLO FROM SABRINA AND JAKE
Hey, we're Sabrina and Jake, and we own and run Apricot Aura Boudoir Studio here in Geelong.
No doubt you are thinking one of these things:
"I'm not like the girls on their website" (you are).
"I would be so bad at posing" (anyone can do it, we've got you).
"I really don't like photos of myself" (yeah...this is different).
We get the hesitation completely.
The fear is usually the same for everyone: what if I go through with this and still don't like what I see? We built this whole experience around making sure that doesn't happen.
We only work with everyday women. No models, no professional posers, no exceptions. If you're nervous, you're exactly who this is for.

How does it all work?
There are 4 steps to the experience.
STEP 1 - Reach Out
Reach out and find out more about our experience. Sure, the moody vintage airbnb vibe of our studio probably isn't for everyone, but if it's your jam, we are very good at what we do and would love to hear from you!
STEP 2 - Preparations
Once your session is booked in, we'll prepare you with a few videos and guides to make sure you know exactly what to expect. You need to know though, if you showed up tomorrow, it'd go great.
STEP 3 - The Session
You arrive to the studio and meet us and our make up artist Beck. You'll get shown around the studio and then go into hair and makeup. We will help you with outfits, posing and anything else you need. You will do awesome, we promise.
STEP 4 - The Reveal
This is where you will see all of your beautiful images for the first time. Sometimes there are tears, there is always laughs. This generally happens within a week of your session, it can be in person at the studio or over a video call.

Feeling nervous is almost a guarantee, but you're in safe hands.
We specialise in EVERYDAY WOMEN and have never photographed a paid model.
Almost everyone is nervous about showing their body, about being in front of the camera or about being in a vulnerable position with a stranger.
But, please understand, you are fully accepted just as you are here. We will capture you in the most flattering way possible and there will be no "trying to look sexy" involved.
Confidence is something we build together during the experience, through the way we guide you, the way we pose you, and the way the studio feels.
By the end of the session, nerves have usually turned into laughter, music, and just us hanging out being creative together.
